Both DirectAdmin and cPanel are compatible with CentOS only; unmetered hosted domain names; involve an additional account login for domain name, invoice transaction and support ticket management procedures; dedicated server root privileges. All dedicated web servers are available only in the United States server farm.

Control Panel ¹ - The Hepsia web hosting Control Panel is a standard accessory solely when combined with the Debian Linux OS and is provided free of cost. With Hepsia you can host unmetered domain names under a single web hosting account. This is possible thanks to Hepsia's powerful Domain Manager section. The other CP devices, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are offered solely with CentOS. Unlike Hepsia, with them you must use TWO different account logins. This is so, because cPanel and DirectAdmin do not deliver any domain name registration/transfer/administration choices. If you opt for Ubuntu as an Operating System for your dedicated web server, there will be no web hosting CP choice.

Domains Hosted ² - unmetered domains can be hosted with all available web hosting Control Panel devices, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/manage your Top Level Domains in one hosting user account. Unfortunately, the cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting CP devices do not provide such function at all - there is no Domain Manager interface and this is why they call for TWO autonomous account logins: 1 domain administration/billing/support account and 1 site administration user account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting CP).

Operating System ³ - you will notice that the Hepsia hosting Control Panel can run on Debian Linux only. It's free of cost to run it on your dedicated hosting web server. Hepsia is not available with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin web hosting CP setups work only with the CentOS OS. Neither of them is available with Debian or Ubuntu.
